Yeah, I've been having the same problem too... I extracted the zip file, opened the game, and got the same message. Happens every time I re-download. I think it's something about my anti-virus/software deleting "syrup.exe" because it identified it as a possible security threat.
Great VN, I think you should add this to the spinoffs in the Lonely Wolf Treat series, due to Treat's cameo and the fact that said cameo was acknowledged in Friendly Bunny Mochi. Also, how come you added the webcomic to the spinoffs but not the VN?
oh! i actually made syrup and the ultimate sweet first, so it's strange to call this a spinoff of the treat series... first kiss at a spooky soiree is in the same universe too and that's not listed either. looks like i need a wiki page or something lol

I thought the graphics were incredibly "sweet" so I downloaded the game. But I did not expect so much fun and such a charming story! Every single character is so lovable. I really enjoyed this experience. Thank you for making this! It's really amazing!
This was such a cute game and a nice story, made us laugh! We would've liked to see more expressions and poses from the characters, and maybe more detail in the backgrounds, but overall, it was such a kawaii narrative and characters! We're excited to play more games by you!

If you pick the right choices that hints towards to Butterscotch's route, make sure that when coming towards the end of the play-through, Syrup got the crystal ball from Butterscotch and she is then later alone in the store, pick the top choice, "Look at the crystal ball" as the bottom choice would just lead you straight to Syrup's Ending. After that, you then click on another top choice, "Of course" when Toffee asks Syrup to come with her to see Treat(the bottom one would lead you straight to Butterscotch's Ending). By doing this, you will be able to get the Toffee ending.
Yeah, the funny thing is, right after I posted that, I went back to the game to give it one more go, and I got it immediately. All I needed to do to unlock Toffee was complain about them haha.
This game probably is my favorite VN I've played off of itch.io so far. I am having issues with finishing Toffee and Pastille's routes. If you could make a walkthrough at some point, that'd be great, though that's probably in the art collection thing so perhaps my question is invalid. I'll think about popping you those 2 bucks sometime!

To get worst end, be as nice as possible to Gumdrop and terrible to Butterscotch. When prompted with "Do you hate me" say "Yeah, I hate you". When Treat, Gumdrop, and Pastille take you to Treat's house, Tell Butterscotch you STILL hate her.

you'll have to delete your persistent save files, i think renpy stores them in two places on your computer? that's all i really know, hope it helps!
