the latter half of the main story is also marked as mature-only, due to dark themes. i thought it would be fucked up if the consensual sex was censored but the particularly violent scenes were not, so i made it like this.

police brutality
CAPTOR ROUTE: an undercover witch cop captures timber, putting magical cuffs on his wrists and a collar around his neck. at one point he pulls the collar by a chain to force timber to the ground. he then takes him to a rabbit named senbei, where he is held in a dungeon and tortured for 6 days. at the end of the route, when he releases timber, he shoots him in the leg (again with magic) to ensure he won't be followed.
blood, gore (mild)
CAPTOR/TORTURE ROUTE: timber's neck is wounded by a magic shock collar which has exploded due to overuse. you only see the aftermath, but the skin where the collar was is all flayed, and his neck and the front of his shirt are drenched in blood during this scene.
sexually-charged torture (no sexual assault, just undertones)
TORTURE ROUTE: timber is chained by the wrists and neck to a workout machine in a basement/dungeon and held captive there for 6 days. he often taunts his captor (senbei) with suggestive dialogue, trying to discern whether he's doing this for some kind of sexual thrill (he's not). senbei's narration and some of his dialogue implies an intense attraction to timber, even if he isn't really conscious of those undertones in the moment.
at one point, senbei lifts timber's shirt to inspect his body. timber is nervous that senbei is going to take off his pants next (he doesn't).
most of the torture is just questioning him over and over, withholding food and water, and using a magic shock collar to punish/control him. there are two scenes where senbei is actively punching him while he's chained up. this is the heaviest route, so... please take care!
starvation and hunger-related topics
a running theme of the story is that the wolves often do not have access to enough food to survive. timber mentions being willing to skip meals for the sake of his family, and during the torture route he explains that his body no longer feels hunger due to his irregular diet.
references to genocide
~20 years ago, rabbits set up a town in the wolves' territory and started killing them in "self-defense". timber's dad was a victim of one of these killings. during the torture route, senbei explicitly says that he wants to exterminate the wolves.
non-consent/rape (within a dream) [optional side content, not part of the main story]
18+ TORTURE EPILOGUE: senbei enters his dungeon to visit timber in the middle of the night. he kisses him to see what it feels like, but timber is revealed to have been awake the whole time and taunts him for doing this. senbei interprets his taunting as an invitation to do more, so things escalate into actually having sex. timber is fully bound during all of this, and his response is a mix of protest and further taunting. it's unclear whether he's enjoying it at all, despite what senbei's narration might suggest.
in the end, senbei wakes up from his sex dream. this is all implied to take place after timber has already been released and senbei doesn't have access to him anymore.
strangulation, attempted murder, violent fantasies
BLACK RABBIT ROUTE: timber is grabbed by the throat, lifted up off the ground, and held there until he can get free.
during this scene, senbei has somewhat graphic thoughts of causing timber much pain using his pocket knife (he doesn't get to act on these)

Made an account just to comment because this has me obsessed. I went in looking for something silly and smutty, heeding the warnings that it would get a little dark too, sure. The simple smutty parts were great on their own, had a great blend of characterisation and stakes with levity and fun.
I wasn't expecting it to go so deep. I spent hours playing through it all without realising. I was drawn in by the hot wolf and ended up with a messy story about colonialism, resistance, necessity, so many messy feelings... you know how to do it. You're incredible at this. I'll definitely check out the rest of your work :) maybe another day though... feel like I'll need a while to process this one. I feel really inspired, playing this has lit a fire under me.
I was expecting a romance, cute visual novel just as always. Instead I got a horror talking about morals with morally grey main character. 10/10, I definitely like it! Hope Nami will do more games like this, cause she writes them really well:D

Genuinely, got me out of a depression from how sublimely written all of this is. Also, I got an absolute jumpscare at the end of the wolf route considering my main name is also Twig. I want endless more Twig content. They are the best thing to grace my life this year.

the game is very amazing and i love it,the story,every perspective and etc, the only thing that ruined it for me was twigs,they are adorable but finding out that "you" in the story isnt really a "you" character kind of breaks perspective and made me a bit dissapointed, as in all the story its implied that you/your sona is the one going through the whole story falling with timber and everything and right at the end find out it wasnt you at all </3. twigs is really a cutie though im not mad about it at all,wish i could be a third lmao,amazing game 10/10

Anyways, huge 100/10. The story was great, the reflection of different perspectives was super cool and the art was absolutely flawless. I've replayed this multiple times and have been astonished every single time.

When I found this game I thought it was gonna be a simple date and sex game. BUT BOY WAS I WRONG. This is such I good game. Instead of sleeping like I was supposed to, I stayed up all night. 100%ing the game. I loved it. It was amazing. Speechless. I like how all the endings connect to the main storyline. And the commentary in the gallery. I honestly loved this game so much. Thank you for blessing my eyes. I will be eating it. I made an account just to leave a comment btw. It's just that good. I love the game and the complexity. I love how you included multiple viewpoints other than the player. In all, this is just such an amazing game and if I didn't play I couldn't have missed out more.

I honestly don't even know where to start; this work is simply incredible. You took all the expectations and ideas I already had about this game—back when there were only a few translations available—and elevated them to such a level that now I really want to see your other projects, especially Lonely Wolf Treat 1 and 2. Now, regarding the narrative and my thoughts on each character—even though I haven't played your other games yet:
Timber – Someone sarcastic and playful, yet deeply caring about others, even if he doesn't always show it outwardly. I really saw a lot of myself in him lately :P
Tundra – A very brusque person, but also very kind. I honestly understand why she’s like that; to me, she seems to have a more broken soul than Timber or anyone else in the story. She reminds me a little bit of my mom—minus the part about losing a husband, of course :3
Twigs – Very innocent and cute—up to a certain point, that is >:) . But out of all the characters, he seems to be the most helpful, supportive, and charismatic (after Timber, obviously :P ). He reminds me of a part of myself from when I was younger; he's so cute, I just want to squeeze him :3
Plum—I felt a bit sorry for him T-T; he seemed to like Timber but never stood a chance—kind of sad, really—but Twigs is better anyway :P
Osmath (I don't remember how to spell his name, so I gave him this nickname :P)- A horrible human being; the only reason I don't hate him too much is that he didn't appear often and, in a way, just did what Senbei asked.
Senbei (The devil incarnate)- I hate this guy. I’d kill him with my own bare hands if I could, and even then, I don't think I'd be satisfied >:(. He’s a horrible, selfish, disturbed, and sadistic person—everything bad you can imagine. I suppose that was the point, seeing as he’s the story's main villain, but I still hate him with every fiber of my being >:(.
The other wolves (Sorry, I don't remember their names besides Juniper ;-; )—They’re so cute, especially Juniper; she’s very playful and reminds me a lot of my late dog. It was fun imagining Juniper as my own beloved pup :3.
My assessment of the game's aspects:
Story-9/10. It’s a very interesting story with many fun, dramatic, and slightly terrifying moments; it’s very deep and conveys a wide range of emotions. I’m only giving it a 9 because OneShot already holds a special place in my heart, and because of Senbei—I hope he doesn't show up in LWT 1 and 2 , I hate him >:( .
Art - 8/10. It’s a simple style, yet very beautiful at the same time; the drawings seem to convey so much emotion. I really wish I could draw like that :) .
I think I’ve said everything I wanted to about the game.
I know it’s a long write-up, but I’m sure there’s plenty I forgot to mention because of my bad memory :P .

This is amazing!!! I honestly didn't know what to expect at the beggining, i thought it'd just be like a silly game with a few instances of the CWs (even tho idk how that'd work lol) but this was SO MUCH better than anything i could imagine. It had me GLUED to the screen
The characters, even with no background context, are so charming and lovable, but the story behind them just makes me love them even more. And the lore? The portrayal of those topics? Buddy don't get me started.
Overall an amazing game; i loved it. I can't get enough of it. I would erase all my memories just so i could play this again.
