i think this is an issue for ren'py games in general--because i use a custom icon for the .exe, it sets off the anti-virus alert. i can assure you the files are safe :) hope you enjoy the game!
It happened to me with literally all ren'py games that have exe as it's main executable file the only one I didn't had that are the one that uses an html file as executable
I just downloaded this game and finished it, I'm so in love!! the characters are so cute and their chemistry is so cute! and the gameplay is great! i love how cute the puzzles are after you finish it!! overall and generally super cute and lovely!! perfect even! I enjoyed the lessons too. The soundtrack too is so calming and fits with the game overall! this is the perfect game to play if you like cute stuff and puzzles!! nomnomnami did a great job!!

Short and really sweet game. The art, story and puzzles are nice. The only problem is lag. The performance drops often for some reason (even got “not responding” once) and input is often not registered. Other than that it’s really nice.
i love this so much!! the puzzles were rather easy, but to me that's okay because the story makes up for it! i really wasn't expecting to be so invested in the story, but the characters are just so charming. (pun intended ;)) i love cassia and senna's dynamic, as well as the cute art style and relaxing music! a very enjoyable experience :)

Only small gripes is that I wish at the end we would have been able to do the puzzles that Cassia would of done for her finals, and also smoother controls when you hold down and mark (I always fill in the 5x5, 10x10, & 15x15 rows first, and doing so the controls felt slow, meaning while I moved my mouse across it usually skipped some squares that I had to go back over to click.)
I don't know if I missed it, but I wonder if there could maybe be a keybind to swap between mark and paint, especially since sometimes it took a second click to register that I was on mark and it gave me an error ;-;
thanks for mentioning this, there was a bug with marking that should be fixed now--plus i made it so middle click will let you toggle between paint and mark :) hopefully no one will get accidental errors anymore!
Super fun, and great for people who may not be super familiar with picross yet! I have no complaints, but I would have loved a longer game as well. I was sad that it was over so soon!

Short story but interesting themes and lore packed in the game as well.
If I have anything negative to say, it's just that, rarely, when marking a cell, I've felt a delay like the game was doing calculations or stuff in the background before the cross actually appeared on screen.
the thing is that this is actually a prequell to another game, "starray flowers", witch is a sequell to the games "syrup and the ultimate sweet" and "first kiss at a spookie sorrié", we have seen cassia also in the game "lonely wolf treat", in other words: cheak out other nami games, they appear there too
I've just finished the game. It was very, very cute! The idea is simple - meddling the visual novel genre with Picross, puzzles that I am personally a fan of - but so effective!
The discussion between the two protagonists is again cute, and they are quite interesting.
The puzzles themselves are great, except a bonus one that I found a bit confusing, but it is fine as the game doesn't punish you too hard for making mistakes.
Concerning the visuals, I love how you've drawn the characters: those round shapes are perfect with the style of the universe!
In other words, this was a nice little experience, thank you for your hard work!
I'm already a fan of picross/nonogram puzzles already, so the puzzles felt like a nice balance without being too challenging for me. It's pretty standard in that regard, but the story and vibes are what take it to the next level.
Cassia and Senna are ridiculously relatable in their own ways, tbh. And I love the moments that imply just a bit more going on in their world.
The only negative I have is that gamepad support doesn't quite work? You can move your cursor around the board, but you can't mark squares. It's not a huge deal, just odd that everything else works and this action doesn't.
Brain hurt from puzzle. No mistakes though. Love the art style and simplicity of the game. The narrative adds a nice touch to the game, that makes it just that more interesting than other puzzle games like this one1

That's a bizzare bug I gotta say if what you described is true lol.
But it's nothing unexpected for me personally, plenty of RPG maker games I download get this false positive report on Windows defender.
Funny because it fails to report a lot of real viruses that I managed to download.

Yeah, some Anti-viruses see Ren'py games as malware, due to how they work. 99% of the time it's a false report

Wish there was a Linux version, but I guess I'll just wait until I get my Windows PC for this.

Aww, that was very cute story. I loved the epilogue dialogue and the sentiment behind it, cause am right now experiencing kind of a same thing.
