oh my god. ive been playing through your entire selection of games through the last few weeks on and off, and i knew stuff could get realllly gay, contract demon was the first of your games ive played and dreaming treat was pretty gay too but this has to be the cutest, gayest thing ive ever played.. gosh i havent even finished it and i wanna replay it already.

NomnomNami, you have created something incredible here. And over the last week, I've been playing as much of your games as I can. I hope that despite everything, you know how much your games mean to so many people. And in the future, never feel like we expect a constant release of games with no substance. We only expect games that are filled with love and passion from someone who truly wants to tell stories and create games.

I was looking for a few months for a short little visual novel that I could spend a couple nights playing... what I got instead was an amazingly endearing love story (which had me in tears by the end) that I can guarantee, I will never EVER forget.
I needed a distraction, and this game satisfied every part of what I needed. I need a love story. I needed cute dialogue. I needed two gay characters to make water start pouring from my eyes.
Everything about this had me completely overwhelmed with joy! Pastille Periwinkle are absolutely amazing characters, and the supporting cast are amazing. The perspectives. The writing. Don't even get me started on the art...
NonnomNami, when I tell you that you have created something incredible, do NOT let that undersell it. This game has absolutely hit me right where it needed it. And I absolutely applaud what you have made here. I'll be looking into more of your games in the future... but I admit I stayed up all night playing this... your fault. But do I regret it?

helll yeahhh, this game! loved playing this so much along with my girlfriend, we voice acted the characters and it was overall fun to go through all the chapters and bonus scenes, I think that this game is really, really well done! all the art and story, personalities go so well together and I overall *loved* this game I seriously think that this is my favorite visual novel so far! I really hope to see more of your work! this was amazing, I've already been checking out bad end theater lol

I am writing this at 1am bc I had a sudden urge to play it again and I'm pretty sure I never reviewed it so I am saying now to everyone: play starry flowers. it's fucking amazing and you will not regret it

This was such a sweet, sappy (in a good way, i promise!), adorable story! I loved Pastille so much, he was just so earnest even though he was super shy and anxious. And Peri using lewdness to avoid being emotionally available was so relatable, it really is a struggle to voice your feelings and be that open, even with people who youve been open with in other ways. Their relationship was so cute to watch blossom.
This was so bad my mlm friend forced us to play this and we both thought this cringe mess of game was not a love story. Periwinkle is very annoying and highkey a sexual harasser.

did you play through the entire game? It's very obviously stated that they both agreed to this and it was a meet up by the game's dialogue, If you think the game is cringe then don't leave a bad comment on it.. It's simply for visual novel enjoyers and not for people that want to hate on it, leave a bad review if you want to, but don't just say the game is a mess and the characters suck
if you haven't finished the game or paid enough attention to it then don't just leave a bad review on the game, you get to know more about the characters as the story progresses-periwinkle and pastille get to have a positive relationship literally around the 3rd to 4th chapter, please just pay enough attention to the game before reviewing it! if you find the characters annoying, sure that's fine but is not an excuse to leave a comment saying the game is a mess
and I am not trying to harass you or disrespect you, I'd just like to say what is wrong about your comment, if you did not like the game then simply don't give a review and move on-if you did not like the game and are here to provide constructive criticism within how the story actually played out, then do give a review of what there is to improve rather than saying the game is wrong and the point of the game is pointless, If you think the game is bad then just give a low rating rather than going to be so harsh to the creator, she still is a game developer and she still puts *a lot* of effort into all the art and the story!
TLDR: don't give very harsh reviews to game developers like this one, provide constructive criticism and put effort into playing the game first then giving a review before doing so

nomnomnami makes mostly wlw games. I really doubt she's a fetishizer. I'm pretty sure she just wanted to make a cute game and something that branched outside of her exclusively gl content. It's not that deep.
My "constructive criticism" is don't make a love story game where one of the characters is sexually harassing or at the very least objectifying the person who is supposed to be their love interest. And they shouldn't have to wait to have a positive relationship, it shouldnt take three chapters for Periwinkle to stop treating Potassium or whatever as a sex object. this is gross fucking fetishization. That's coming from a guy who doesn't throw that word around like every bitch on TikTok does.
Obviously, this is just a game and real people aren't being hurt here, but it just worries me that the creator of this game and everyone here seems to think that this is a cute and normal relationship.

Periwinkle repeatedly makes unwarranted sexual comments to the other dude, which he literally just met. In that first chapter, I think there was only about a sentence or two that wasnt some sort of innuendo or outwardly inappropriate. Periwinkle even thinks to himself, virtually, that Pastel dresses like a slut despite his modest personality. He was literally just wearing a skirt and some high socks, that's normal ass clothes. This is way more than flirting and this is definitely Periwinkle seeing Pastel as nothing more than a guy he's meeting up with who he wants to end up in his bed(not saying hookups are bad or anything, but it just seems that Pastel is here to have a nice date and like that sort of thing wasn't agreed upon). Only later on does Periwinkle ever ask to make sure what he says is okay with Pastel.
Also, this is most definitely fetishization(coming from, as you may have read, someone who is mlm himself). This relationship seems purely sexual and they even have sex at the end of the first fucking chapter. There also seems to be that dynamic that fujoshis love where one of the boys is unrealistically submissive and the other is "dominant" (otherwise meaning they just do as they please to the other without any regard to their feelings) going on between them.
Also, they aren't even partners yet in the chapter that me and my friend are talking about, they're literally meeting up for the first time from what I know.
the first interaction of them is literally them going on a date, by sexual comments, do you mean the flirting?
I'd love to hear specifics on why you thought that. I got nothing but good vibes from the game and thought it was a really cool portrayal of a relationship stemming from a lifestyle that's about the exact opposite of my own.
