hello! if you found this game by searching the nsfw tag here on itchio, you may have noticed those search results have thinned out considerably. in case you weren't aware, itchio was forced to deindex all adult content from its search due to pressure from payment processors. some projects were even completely removed without warning! more info here: https://itch.io/updates/update-on-nsfw-content
i wanted to write a post here because currently when you search for nsfw games, sex advice succubus is the top result. it seems like the reason it didn't get delisted is because it doesn't use the erotic tag (since the game currently has no erotic content). traffic to this page has hugely spiked because of this, so i wanted to take the opportunity to try and help point people in a positive direction!
if you agree that it's unfair for payment processors to be the ones to decide what art is allowed to be bought and sold internationally, there is an ACLU petition you can sign to help combat the issue.

Please be fair and no harassment to the the people there I wrote them my opinion and that it is hardly to criticism that the letter of them kills many protects that don't make peoplemsand that they now responsible for this terrible ban wave on nearly every gaming platform.
While Itch had no choice at this time, it's still deeply disappointing that they had no action plan to try and defend themselves and their users from this sort of thing.
It's not like this is the first time that payment processors have pulled this exact sort of bullshit, Itch had to have known that this sort of thing was at risk.
What COULD they do? It's the same as a normal citizen trying to fight alone for his family against the president of his own country, it's not a fight from the start.
I'm so disappointed and pissed that even itch io caved into the pressure of puritans asking for censorship. I really hope you can find an alternative platform, or some solution, during this whole disaster of a situation. Censorship is never justified.
to be fair, if they had resisted the entire site would be without payment processing and no artists on the platform could be paid. i think steam probably could have made a stand, but not a site as small as itchio.

what really sucks is that free games that aren't even involved with payments are getting punished, all of my adult games have been delisted
I hope this gets resolved soon, it's a huge bummer and is a bad sign for the future of indie games if people can get away with this kinda stuff

It does stink aplove i seen a few of my favorite nsfw games hadnt updated in over a year IDK if its the issue with the bs itch.io had to do or not.. miss playing my inactive nsfw games, i ment to ask too since on wife's bedroom I cant leave a comment on it.. could you possibly make a apk file for android i can kinda play it on my google pixel 7a but its only say 3 hearts to fill once all 3 are done i cant change lovers.. playing in the browser an i kinda wanna try the mods too in a way..but mostly the regular part of it.. idk if you can make an android file or not but if you can that be much appreciated so i can continue playing it instead of closing the game down an refreshing my browser to restart next lover.

Yes, I'm sure Visa would love for people to email them - that's trivial to bulk automate and does not tie up a system with limited capacity. Call them. And record the call so you have a record of how it went.

There's something fishy about the whole Collective Shout thing. Normally big companies like Mastercard and Visa completely ignore the pleas of "activist" groups, no matter how much they cry or beg. They'd even keep covid alive on purpose if more death meant more body bag sales. They only take minimal action when neccessary to selfishly protect their own fat pockets. So the fact that these big-ass corpos are bending over backwards for this group (who is evil btw "activists" or not), seems to imply they have someone even more powerful as a donor... someone like Elon Musk or perhaps even the Russian Oligarchs. It also feels very much like Hitler's "witch hunt" against "degenerate art".

not currently. i dont know any other platform that allows nsfw games and comics right now...
itchio felt like the last one.
Last I checked, Booth (BoothPM? It's partnered or owned by Pixiv?) allows NSFW comics and games. I feel like your VNs and Comics that have been translated to Japanese would do really well over there! Other than that, the options are pretty slim aside from just making your own personal site and host it on somewhere like NeoCities or something.
I saw this post saying that JAST was open for contact in this regard - the initial post mentioned BL and otome games, but I included a reblog where the same person mentioned those were not the only categories they were open to receiving.

am i still able to view games in my collections after they've been delisted?
if the game was only delisted and not removed, you can still access it. as far as i understand, removed games are no longer downloadable.
Removed games are currently still downloadable through jam submission pages (at the top right corner of game pages), through your library if the game is already bound to your account, and through the itch desktop app.
We need to spread this around to let people speak out against this.
