ROMANCE DETECTIVE 2 is an unfinished visual novel that's been in development for about 22 months. the story is complete aside from a few short scenes that were left unwritten, and you'll see a lot of sketches in place of final art. it's at least presentable, and a satisfying experience despite lacking polish.

the reason it's being released in this state is explained in the game itself. i just want to be as clear as possible up front that this project is not finished and i have no plans to continue development on it.

so if you enjoyed the first romance detective game, and still want to play its sequel even if it's unfinished, i hope you'll enjoy this <3
